I am a scientist with the International Centre for Radioastronomy Research (ICRAR), where I study how galaxies have changed from the Big Bang to the present day. Every day I aim to answer key questions about the Universe such as, how did the first groups of stars come together to form galaxies, how do galaxies change as the Universe expands over time and how do we eventually form galaxies like our own Milky Way?
ICRAR is an institute of astronomers, engineers and big data specialists supporting the Square Kilometre Array, the world’s largest radio telescope. ICRAR is an equal joint venture between Curtin University and The University of Western Australia, with funding support from the State Government of Western Australia.
