Erich Fitzgerald

Erich Fitzgerald is a palaeontologist at Museums Victoria studying the evolutionary history of marine mammals - whales, seals and sea cows - and their ocean environment. His work is focused on exploring the fossil record of these mammals, one of the last frontiers for palaeontology in Australia.

Science and technology is as much a part of our cultural fabric as art, music, theatre and literature. Australia’s Science Channel believes every citizen has a right, and a responsibility, to be informed, and our mission is to create programs to bring that about.
