It can be hard to know where to go to get information when doing a research project for your senior school years.

To help you out, here are some videos of students that have been there, done that. These should help you with things like how to drill down your area of interest into a specific research question, the best way to get information, and some other tips and tricks they picked up along the way.

Many students have said finding a reliable website they can trust for information was a good start, this short video might also highlight the importance of checking your facts no matter what in life!

Always try to cross reference your findings, and see if you can find the actual source of data – all backed up with a primary source interview where possible, there’s nothing like speaking to someone that has hands on experience of what you are trying to find out.

You can also use Australia’s Science Channel as a trusted resource for information too!

Science and technology is as much a part of our cultural fabric as art, music, theatre and literature. They play a significant role in our daily lives, yet, in a world dependent on science, we often take them for granted. Australia’s Science Channel believes every citizen has a right, and a responsibility, to be informed, and our mission is to create programs to bring that about.
